Eric Alper, Koch Entertainment "One of Canada's best singer-songwriters."
Mike Giunta - Director of Programming at Galaxie - CBC's continuous music network "I always find a great story inside of Jason's songs. He has a knack for pulling you into his music. Before you know it, the song is over and you're reaching for the repeat button. We still get mail when we play the World is Flat CD which was a few years ago now. The new one Little Coma, has more textures and diversity but it's still great stories that suck you in everytime!"
Brother Jake - CFMI Morning Show Rock 101 Vancouver "The best raw home grown talent I have heard"
David Chesney - DC Entertainment & Former CBS Records Marketing "A charming stage presence with a strong connection to his audience. He is much more than your typical singer songwriter."
Eric Alper - Koch Entertainment "I've seen Jason perform on several occasions and he is one of this country's best singer songwriters."
Sheryl Mackay - Producer & Host of CBC's "North by Northwest" program. "Jason Miitchell's voice is a dream, he writes songs that make me want to listen...and tunes that stay in my head...he's got it all...."
Ian Nathanson - Ottawa Sun "Waxing Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan poetic with a musical dose of Tom Waits and Cat Stevens Mitchell is chock full of melodic potential."
Mike Ross - Edmonton Sun "With a strong voice, Dylanesque music and Duchovny-esque good looks, Mitchell could go far."
John Kendle - Winnipeg Sun "An emotive and inspired vocalist, Mitchell sings intense, observational tales of love and longing. Amid the noisy sheen of the teen posters who dominate today’s world, his sound is refreshing."
Lisa Wilton - Calgary Sun"Mitchell’s observational, human behavior-inspired songwriting and emotionally raw and expressive vocals have been compared to fellow singer-songwriter poets like Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan."

As many of you may already know I have been busy writing and getting together songs for my new Album "The Indeciduous" While in the studio, this Christmas song called "Christmas Lights" kind of jumped out. We thought it would be cool to get it out to all of you as quick as we could to say "Merry Christmas" and to see if we could generate a little Christmas charity along with it. It will be available for purchase on Itunes hopefully by December and all the proceedswill go to the empty stocking fund. I look forward in all of you hearing this song and hope that it will spike your interest as to the content of my new album. Until then much joy and peace to all of you.
Jay.
